We visited the Schaapskooi while in the area for brunch. They are located on a picturesque country road with traditional farm land surrounding the venue. They offer a good amount of free on-site parking. The restaurant offers a fair amount of seating with a very nice kids playground within eyesight of most tables. There drink and food options were quite wide and they serve an ice coffee which appeared to be very popular and was quite good as well. The staff were helpful and service was efficient even while busy. I would recommend a visit by bike or car for a lunch out with the family.

Great place to walk around, and afterwards, have a snack and something to drink. Erea has a lot of interesting history in nature. The place itself was entirely built by volunteers, and besides the different kinds of sheep, houses chickens and grows hop for brewing beer, what is not to love...
Always lovely to hug the lambs and it is cozy to have drinks and cakes, we love to be there as a whole family
They hosted our event and it was perfect. Location, catering, a walk through nature with the shepherd. Beforehand we had clear communications and on the day itself they showed flexibility and a focus to providing the best service possible. I highly recommend this venue!

Een heel fijn plekje om even te pauzeren tijdens een wandel of fietstochtje. At er een serieus lekker warm broodje tonijn en dronk er een perfecte cappuccino. Ook een mooi plekje voor ouders met jonge kinderen. Er zijn kleine traktoren en dergelijke om op te peddelen en een zandbak. Mooi terras ook. Aanrader.
